Lindsay MacLennan is a senior nursing student at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto and an alumna of Queen's University where she graduated in 2017 and 2019 with an Honours Bachelor of Science with a major in Life Sciences and a Master of Science in Anatomical Sciences, respectively. She is interested in the systemic causes of the overrepresentation of 2SLGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals in the diabetes population and group-specific educational interventions for diabetes management
