Canadian Diabetes Educator Certification Board (CDECB)
The CDEC Board is responsible for the development and administration of the certification program for Certified Diabetes Educators (CDE) in Canada.

The Diabetes Canada Clinical Practice Guidelines are intended to guide practice; inform general patterns of care; enhance diabetes prevention efforts in Canada; and reduce the burden of diabetes complications. The intended users are all health-care professionals that are involved in the management of people with diabetes and those at risk of developing diabetes, with a particular focus on primary care or “usual care” providers. The guidelines are also intended for people living with diabetes.
