WHO extends an invitation to individuals with personal experiences of diabetes to engage in an interactive event on Thursday, 18 April 2024 from 14:00–17:00 Central European Time (CET) (20:00-23:00 EST).
This session aims to incorporate valuable firsthand insights to better understand the barriers in engaging the type 2 diabetes community effectively. Additionally, this will serve as an opportunity to collaboratively refine the WHO Diabetes Kahoot interactive learning experience and provide inputs to language WHO uses on diabetes.
The WHO Global Diabetes Compact is committed to ensuring the selection process reflects diversity in gender, geographical background and diabetes type among participants. Submissions will be evaluated in line with WHO's due diligence standards. Kindly note that only individuals selected will be contacted for further participation. This event will be facilitated in English.
